In 2017 Northeastern Health System in Tahlequah entered a partnership with Sequoyah Memorial Hospital in Sallisaw to be rebranded as NHS (Northeastern Health System) Sequoyah.
Along with the rebrand, NHS is committed to being THE regional healthcare provider of choice in Sequoyah County by providing unsurpassed excellence in healthcare.

SEQUOYAH CLINIC
In early 2021, NHS Sequoyah proudly announced the opening of the Sequoyah Family Clinic located at 511 East Redwood in Sallisaw. The Sequoyah Family Clinic offers general, non-emergency health care to patients of all ages.
Lead by Dr. Eric A. Amberson, the team of professionals at Sequoyah Family Clinic make quality health care accessible for Sequoyah County and the surrounding areas. Sequoyah Family Clinic is now accepting new patients.

OUR HISTORY
NHS Sequoyah traces its roots in our community back to August 21, 1949. On that date, through the dreams and hard work of the citizens of Sequoyah County, Sequoyah Memorial Hospital was opened in
Sallisaw, Oklahoma.
Led by Dr. J.A. Morrow, Sequoyah Memorial Hospital laid the foundation for the future of community health care in Sequoyah County.
Today, NHS Sequoyah proudly continues that legacy of service and care. As we work to improve health care in our community, we will always maintain a focus on the principles of patient care that Dr. Morrow
established decades ago.
